Welcome to October’s edition of the
bulletin.
Gyda’n Gilydd Training – we are organising a training programme in the three areas of the County. These will be half day workshops for frontline staff
who work with children, young people and parents (including adult services who
work with adults where there are children in the family). There will be 15 spaces
in each workshop and there are more details and a registration form attached to
the “Bulletin” e-mail.
Developments:
In October:
·
20 referrals were received
to date across the three areas.
·
Several presentations on the work of the Team were
given to Head teachers of
the County’s primary
and special schools.
·
We
attended 3 Health Visitors area meetings .
·
The
team met with a wide range of agencies who work with families.
· We
have received 70 confirmations of attendance at the Wythnos Ni, Supporting
Families – Launching Gyda’n Gilydd Conference on October
24th . We look forward to seeing you on the day!
In the month to come, we will:
· Finalise
the guidance document on thresholds between the Gyda’n Gilydd Team and Social
Services (under the auspices of the Gwynedd and Anglesey Local Safeguarding
Children Board).
· Promote
the service with other agencies and teams. Please contact us if you would like
